What are the requirements needed to register for NA I?
1. High school diploma/ GED
2. At least 18 years of age
3. No Felonies on record (some misdemeanors are not accepted please call discuss any charges you may have encountered)
4. Able to pass a drug screen
4. Ability to read and write on at least an 8th grade level
5. Complete an in-person orientation scheduled 2 weeks before start date.
How long will it take to complete NA 1?
What is the schedule for the NA 1 class?
All course work and assignments are completed online throughout the week. Schedule for lab: Tues and Wed. 8am-3:00pm, Schedule for Clinical: Tues. and Wed 7am-3:30pm.
How do I reserve my seat for the class?
- Contact school by email or view open seats on website to determine if there are any available seats in the class you wish to enroll.
- Once seat availability is confirmed make payment for class.
- Once payment is received you will receive an email from Effinity within 24 business hours confirming your seat has been held and instructions on completing your registration process.
If I am renting a book when can I pick it up?
Pick up a rented book Mon-Fri 8a-5p. Please be sure to email or call and provide us with the date you will be arriving to pick up your book.
Where do I take my NA 1 state exam?
Once you have successfully completed the course you will be able to take the NC state exam at a Credentia location
How do I complete my background check and drug screen?
- Once your payment has been received you will receive an email with a consent form to complete your background check and drug screen.
- When your form is complete a member from our team will begin your background check and submit a request for a drug screening.
- You will receive an email with your clinical service form
- Print this form out and take to the drug screen location listed on the form.
- Once the test is complete, we will receive notification and update you that test has has been completed.
* We are unable to accept records with felonies as this will result in a "NO" for the clinical site.
What is the schedule for NA II?
All course work and assignments are completed online. You will be given Monday-Friday to complete assignments. Schedule for lab/clinical days are Tues. and Thurs. 8am-4:30pm.
When will my documents need to be submitted?
All documents must be submitted 10 days before your class start date. This includes background check and drug screen.
Will I receive a refund if I cancel my seat before the class start date?
Yes, you will receive a refund minus a $50 registration, background check and drug screen fees.
What is the location of clinical rotation?
Clinical rotation is held at a local long-term facility.
Will I be allowed to arrive late due to my work schedule?
No, you will need to arrive on time for all scheduled days as you are required to complete 119 hours within the NAI program and our days are set accordingly.
